Prior to joining Gray Hat Research he held several executive level positions at IBM. From 2000 to 2008 his titles have included World Wide Sales Executive, Solutions Sales Executive, and West Region Sales Lead. In these roles Mr. Williamson was responsible for developing and growing business in Aerospace and Defense, Commercial embedded device software, and the Lotus software brand.

Before joining IBM, Mr. Williamson spent eight years as a contractor to the US Army on the Ronald Regan Missile test range in the South Pacific. Mr. Williamson was Program Manager for the Multiple Simultaneous Engagement program and Project Manager responsible for replacing the command and control center for missile test operations.

From 1981 to 1994, between assignments on the Missile test range, Mr. Williamson held positions as a consultant and contractor to the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Mr. Williamson has a keen sense of duty to his country, serving proudly in the United States Army. Mr. Williamson holds a Top Secret as a result of his extensive work with the DoD. He holds a B.M. from the University of North Texas and an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Williamson is a certified Project Manager (PMP) with the Project Management Institute.

He resides in Spring, Texas with his wife and daughter.
